"Theft, Embezzlement, and Lawsuits: Preventing Employee Dishonesty in the Dental Practice." Presented by the Kern County Dental Society

Almost all dentists will experience theft, embezzlement, or an employee lawsuit in their careers. Losses can amount to hundreds of thousands of dollars. If you wait until it has already happened, there is very little that can be done to recoup the losses. Dr. Her-Ellison will discuss recognizing the red flags, the most common forms of embezzlement and theft, using your available tools to more quickly uncover dishonesty, and walk you through state and federal employment laws that pertain to dentists. She will also provide simple protocols that any busy dentist can utilize. We are not forensic accountants or detectives. Dentists need practical solutions. Take a proactive role in protecting your practice.
